| Description: | ViaPost is an exciting new entrant into the UK Postal Sector, based upon the concept of POIP (Post Over IP) enabling small and large companies to send their physical post directly from a PC to a dedicated print facility near to the destination. It is a cheaper, faster and greener alternative to Royal Mail, TNT and other traditional players in the sector. As CEO, my responsibilities are to create and drive strategy for the business, build the management team, raise finance and bring the company to launch in Summer 2008.
• Successfully raised two rounds of funding (during the “credit crunch”), the second at a company valuation of £5M • Taken the company from business plan to full launch in 15 months with c£1M funding and on track for break even Sep 09 and to beat the business model that will show revenues in year 3 of £75M+; developed close relationships with Microsoft (launched as strategic partner by Steve Ballmer in November 07) and Publicis; built unique software system and a protected UK infrastructure for the business – now developing an international model; gained PR in all broadsheets, Channel 4 news, radio 2 and 4 and positioned ViaPost as the household name for Hybrid Mail in the UK • Created and now implementing aggressive roadmap for the business to become a market leading communications company. |

| Description: | Conexia Publishing was set up to purchase an undervalued title “International Trade Today” and its associated trademarks. Entering its 70th year in 2007, the trade title was purchased from Impromptu Publishing having been underperforming as a result of a misdirected strategy. A sales team has been set up in Spain, calling back to the UK with significant cost savings, and a new strategy based around increasing circulation and bringing on key sector partners. Plans for 2007 include the launch of an online version of the magazine, an International Trade Awards programme and an International Trade Portal.
Key achievements include: - Strategic alliance with Parcelforce, doubling circulation to just over 20,000 and eliminating distribution costs. Introduction of Spanish based sales team and introduction of general manager - Tying RBS as founding sponsors into the International Trade Awards for 2007 – also negotiating partnership deals with UKTI, Barclays, HSBC, BCC, HRS, MaxJet, Dunn & Bradstreet and others - Sucessful and profitable exit (private sale) in 2008. |

- Stadia Marketing S.L. (“Stadia Europe” - January 2003 – September 2006): Co-founded with Ben Caulfield. A media owner, conceptualised and based upon seat back advertising, primarily in the sports arena. Stadia is now well established in Spain, working with the top first division clubs and blue chip sponsors. Break-even was achieved in 2005 and a majority stake was sold in the business in 2006. - Conexia Publishing Ltd – “International Trade Today” (November 2005 – August 2008): Based in the UK, International Trade Today (ITT) is entering its 70th year and is recognised as the leading independent publication in the sector. Recent profitable exit. - HK2L Ltd (Jan 2007 – present): HK2L was set up to exploit a niche in the tailor made suit market in the UK, complimented with a private members club. The business was established, developed revenues and proof of concept within 3 months, a management team put in place and investment secured. |

In the past two years, 16 further games were completed and the business consolidated in Spain.
Key achievements include: - Established relationships with Managing Directors of LFP, all Primera Liga football clubs, incuding Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Valencia, Real Sociedad and Deportivo La Coruña. - Attracted key clients in the Spanish market as advertisers, including: Marca, Rexona, Gillette, Caprabo, Springfield, Canal +, Fadesa and many more. - Established an average profit per game of € 6,000-10,000 - Sold majority share (retaining 35%) in August 2006 and appointed Publimedia as Stadia’s exclusive sales agents with a sales target of €2M for the 2006-07 season. |
