Designing a web based application aimed at providing a better platform for studying, sharing, indexing, rating and arranging study materials. Code Named STUDY.

Designed and built an autonomous robot DECIPHER, capable of character recognition and dynamic path planning. The project was a makeover of a land robot, developed one year before as a hobby project.

• Selected among the Top-15 worldwide, consecutively for two years in Microsoft Imagine Cup ’08,’07– Embedded Invitational. Project presented at worldwide finals held at Paris and Seoul respectively.
• Won a gold medal for the Best student academic project ’08 by TCS (Tata Consultancy Services).
• Won the 1st prize in Radix, DaCrytex ‘07, the only robotics competition ever held in India for character recognition. Sponsor: Freescale Semiconductors.
• Received special appreciation award by N.S.I.C., India (National Small Industry Corporation Limited) and appreciation by the President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
• At Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI), International Aerial Robotics Competition (IARC)’07, held at Fort Benning, GA, USA.:
o The only team from Asia to get a flying card and conduct a test flight. (till date)
o Got special appreciation for the technical presentation and the team effort. Won an honorable mention for the best team T-shirt design.
