| Description: | ESR Technology is the former Atomic Energy Agency which was formerly owned by the UK Government and was established over 40 years ago. I am responsible for the entire Middle East set-up of the company at Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority.
My responsibilities include all recruitment and head hunting of our safety, risk and engineering specialists in the oil and gas, power generation and aviation divisions of the company; all Middle East marketing and Public Relations activity, reputation management; market intelligence, commercial contract negotiation, generation and implementation; budgetary controls; developing new and existing business. |

| Description: | I wholly owned The Platinum Group which had three divisions: Marketing and Public Relations; Training and Conferences; Recruitment Head Hunting. The commercial training division offered bespoke public training programmes in oil, gas, energy, safety and risk, marketing, public relations and media training. These training programmes were marketed throughout the GCC and Egypt to a large and focused data base. The PR & Marketing division handled a variety of clients including Dubai Community Theatre and Arts Centre, Global Furniture Solutions and Metallica. The head hunting division was a natural fit with the rest of the company and we handled many UK based clients and identified and placed many professionals in the oil, gas and aviation professions. The company was sold in July 2007. |

| Description: | I began a successful 10 year career with IIR Holdings as a Conference Director when the company employed eight people and had a t/o of less than a US$1 million. I produced high level strategic conferences in oil and gas, energy, finance, retail, steel, banking, marketing and health in addition to training programmes in each of these areas. During the following 10 years, the company grew to a t/o of US$44 million and a total production output of 420 events per annum. During this time, I was responsible for staff recruitment, customer service, all commercial contract negotiation, product development, company strategy, guru events, strategic development and growth.
In my final two years with the company, I ran the conference and training division which employed over 100 people. I was responsible for increasing the t/o from US$33 million and a net profitability of 7% per annum in 2003 to US$44 million and a net profitability of 11% in my final year. |
