Description: “Run the bank” phase: Reporting to Head of Merchant Services
• Product owner for the Ivobank Payment Gateway.
• Client facing, creating an efficient integration service, then managing a streamlined repeatable integration process into multiple gaming operator clients for a fast efficient transition into using the bank services, co-ordinating with Account Management personnel and reporting directly to the Head of Merchant Services, Senior Technical Architect and PMO.
• Creating collaborative relationships with clients’ technical departments and fielding RFI/RFP from prospective clients, providing Presales support, requirements analysis and feasibility status for Sales and Product Management teams as SME for operator systems.
• Issue diagnosis and resolution of operator technical issues on the Ivobank Payment Gateway, database and server issues and other client–side bugs from diverse bespoke platforms, based on a functional understanding of the client architecture and interfaces.
• UAT Testing, Quality Assurance and SIT Testing of the Ivobank Payment Gateway, with functional sign-off for website and Payment Gateway changes and functionality fixes, as well as UAT and SIT of the operator integration with the Ivobank interface.
• Analysis and specification of business requirements related to a wide range of service products, including the development of all new means to meet market requirements via the Payment Gateway and its peripheral services, SEPA and Card payments.
• Sales and Marketing representative of the Communications Forum, aiming to ensure good working relationships; Technical Change Board responsible for the merchant integration environment, and a conduit to the Technical Team.

“Build the bank” phase: Reporting to Head of IT Business Systems Technology
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Ivobank Payment Gateway, Merchant Secure site and Merchant stakeholders in an Agile team.
• UML specification of the Payment gateway interfaces and the creation of API documentation for the Gaming and E-Commerce sectors, and acting as product owner throughout their development from concept through the project lifecycle, managing change throughout.
• Defining, managing development, then UAT testing and QA of security and verification functionality, secondary integration channels tailored to aggregator clients, multiple GUI design issues and External Card Payments systems integration, within the payment gateway.
• Delivery of major usability projects such as mapping the website and interface exception handling functionality
• Testing of primary Merchant and Customer touch-points including web, Call-centre and payment gateway services and assisting in the testing of all core banking functionalities (BPO, BACS, SWIFT, ICBS, Decisioning), becoming business owner for all defects captured.
• Defining the Presales and Integration role, merchant set-up process and client integration process from scratch.

Position: Project Manager
Time period: May 2006 - January 2007
Description: Managing a localised commercial trial of the Payzy NFC mobile payment service involving:
• Rolling out an NXP contactless mobile payment application with EPOS support across a mile radius within the City of London,
• Assisting with planning, strategy, risk analysis, user policy integration and service development in a joint-venture with VOCA
• Merchant On-boarding, to provide POS facilities to trial customers for various retail Merchants around the trial zone
• Project management over full lifecycle, including Integration and Development
• Liaising with Mobile Operator and Payments venture partners working to Prince2 guidelines, UML and system architecture
• Understanding of a range of mobile technologies (SIM, NFC, SmartCard, GSM) and standards, such as ISO/IEC 18092, ISO/IEC NP 14443-1, ISO 7816 and the GSM 11 standards, as well as GlobalPlatform 2.1 card architecture and SWP, as well as web technologies such as .NET, C#, SQL Server.
• My development responsibilities centred on .NET 2 in C# and SQL Server 2005 for web service and database interfaces.

Position: M-Commerce Developer
Time period: September 2005 - April 2006
Description: Responsible for strategy, sales and development for SpartaPay within the Mobile space, expanding the service range and significantly improving the company’s product offering, while leading the business into vital new markets and creating key client alliances. Represented the organisation at both the 3GSM and CeBIT trade fairs where I secured several partnerships for the development of our mobile offering in global commercial and public sector markets. I was involved in tendering negotiations for the proposed payments service development to the Oyster Card. Developmental responsibilities centred on .NET, SQL and web service integration in C#.
• Creation of a mobile presentation layer for the SpartaPay payments service.
• Presales and integration presentations to the Public Sector for implementation of the SpartaPay system on smartcard platforms.
• Representation of SpartaPay at the 3GSM and CeBIT trade conferences, and presentation to international public sector bodies.
