I specialise in the field of Web design, multimedia, and interface design.
Ever since I took up computing in my Bachelor degree course in 2001, I have never looked back at the wonder of computers as tools to make our lives easier, so we can have more time for self improvement.
My Website is located at www.salocinten.info, and it showcases some of my work, as well as a diary or blog of interesting events and subjects.
I was involved in a national-level project that aims to cut cheque processing time from three days to just one day. Other tasks include maintenance of the company Website, internal support, and assistance in the composition of marketing material.
Currently, I assist in the software development of the PROFILE(R) banking automation system using Sybase PowerBuilder, MUMPS, Redhat Enterprise Linux, and MS SQL.
I have also been involved as a Webmaster in a few extra curricular societies locally and abroad.
New found favourites in programming are with using Visual Basic 2005 Express, Ruby on Rails, and Sybase PowerBuilder.
I have a very keen interest in the "dot net" programming platform, though only a light hobby due to non-support.
