American grad student pursuing M.S. in electrical engineering at Stanford. Interested in entrepreneurship, energy, greentech, cleantech, social ventures, politics, film, traveling, data visualization, and cooking. B.S. in Electrical Engineering, NC State University, 2007.
Co-founder of social venture WaterPLUS, which aims to develop a low cost water purification device for the developing world. Our team has entered several social business plan competitions and have won $24,000 in awards.
Co-founder and three-time race director for the Krispy Kreme Challenge, a benefit race for the NC Children's Hospital. Grew the race from 12 people to 1400+ in just 3 years, increased funds raised from $800 to $10,300 in just 2 years.
