Robert Saling is a highly respected senior executive with
25 years of operations, sales and business development experience. Trained as an engineer, Robert’s ability to analyze complex situations and design solutions to achieve best outcomes has been the foundation of his business success. These skills coupled with his collaborative approach to problem solving and excellent communication make him a superb executive manager with superior people skills.
Quickly advancing from field engineer to Internet Services National Sales Manager during his 15-year career with Hewlett-Packard, Robert was consistently recognized for his outstanding performance. He was named 11 times to the Hewlett-Packard Winners Circle for exceeding revenue targets by more than 120%. He was honored four times at the Midwest Region Top Performer and named to HP’s President’s Club which honors the company’s top 100 employees.
In 1998, Robert launched his career into further success when he became the co-owner of Pepperweed Consulting, LLC. He was responsible for building a national sales team, all aspects of business development and numerous operational tasks vital to a new business. The organization quickly emerged as one of Inc. 500’s fastest growing companies and one of the world’s largest providers of Enterprise Management Solutions. Robert’s business development skills are credited as the catalyst for the company’s meteoric growth to $35 million in revenue. During his work with Pepperweed, the company was a multi-year recipient of the Hewlett-Packard Partner Summit and Crystal awards.
Today, as the Executive Director of Business Consulting Group, Robert advises companies through various stages of business growth, provides business and personal assessment, strategic plans for improvement and business coaching to improve a team’s performance.
