Description: • Sole architect and developer of the Arbor’s spreadsheet interface to Essbase. Development lead for this product through three major commercial releases. This software comprised both client and server software.
• Single-byte enabled the Essbase spreadsheet client software. This feature allowed the spreadsheet software to be localized for the French, German, and Japanese markets.
• Designed and implemented company’s serial number and licensing technology. This technology was incorporated into the entirety of the company’s product line.
• Architected and designed the Essbase Web Gateway, an application on top of the independent application layer, which enabled Internet browsers access to the Essbase database. Managed development of this product through two major commercial releases.
• Participated in the definition and design of the Essbase Grid API. This API was used by ISVs for high-speed reporting purposes.
• Managed a team of 4 individuals focused on Arbor’s spreadsheet interface, C and Visual Basic APIs, networking, agent, security, SQL drill-through, and ODBC development.
• Presented at several of the company’s user conferences.
• Visited customer sites on several occasions to handle problem solving as well as to foster good customer relations.
• Technologies utilized included C, C++, MFC, ODBC, Excel Add-in Development API, Lotus 123 Add-in Development API, HTML, CGI, Visual Basic, DDE, DDEML, OLE, 8086 Assembly

Description: • Ported several UNIX utilities including TR, SED, SORT, CB, and M4 to the CTOS platform.
• Created an environment variable system service for CTOS.
• Ported XVT Software's XVT character version to CTOS that required writing drivers for the mouse, keyboard, video, and file system. The XVT software became the standard internal tool for all new development on CTOS for all of Unisys.
• Implemented code that would read binary Presentation Manager resources from character XVT programs.
• Single-byte enabled XVT for CTOS.
• Wrote an event (mouse & keyboard) record and playback tool for the QA department to help test the XVT port.
• Technologies utilized included C, PLM, 8086 Assembly

Description: • Developed functionality that displayed diagnostic information received from six avionics computers via an IEEE 488 interface bus into an easy to read format on a secondary monitor attached to an IBM PC.
