• Assists in providing computer/network support relating to software and hardware problems reported by users. • Maintains an adequate level of knowledge of operating systems and application software being used to provide high levels of support to users. • Install new software applications or hardware, coordinating assistance from third parties when necessary. • Monitors and responds, quickly and courteously, to helpdesk requests and provides after hours support as assigned by the Director. • Provides documentation and training of basic computers services. • Adds and maintains user accounts and profiles by assigning application access, ensuring security, and maintaining their configurations within current standards. • Assists in the installation of servers, workstations, and printers. • Performs backup and recovery procedures as determined by backup requirements. • Evaluates and installs all operating system patches and applications updates as required. • Ensures Anti-Virus/Spam software is operating properly and signature updates are kept current. • Provides daily written document reporting on core systems status to Director. • Participates in team meetings, providing input and suggestions. • Maintains computer hardware and software inventory. • Monitors and reports on application licenses to ensure compliance on a bi-annual basis. • Assists with Network, Linux Servers, Web Servers, and other systems as needed. • Other duties as assigned. |
