A technical Staffing Consultant and Head-Hunter with a natural sales flair and inquisitive mindset. Strong ability to read between the lines and really understand and respond to the needs of customers and clients alike. The companies I enjoy working with most (due to the success I had with them) are generally ultra-cool start-ups in the areas of mobile applications, mobile & web content, social networking, Web based FMCG, Loyalty and Insights.

Whilst predominantly working at the sexy end of mobile technology and broadcast, I feel that given the effect complete web, mobile, broadcast, and general technology convergence has had, not only on us all as individuals but the entire business world, that it would be difficult to continue to call myself a specialist in any one area.

Position:	Sales Manager - Home Counties
Time period:	November 2002 - April 2005
Description:	Sole responsibility for the Home Counties region (including the budget for the branch), both opening and closing field sales business over the phone when the exec was experiencing difficulties or strong resistance (on a daily basis), winning contract extensions and retaining existing clients, ensuring all documentation is both accurate & processed in a timely fashion, responsible for meeting all sales targets within my region, designing and placing local staff advertising, attending directors meetings on a monthly basis at head office to discuss company direction and strategy to ensure the maximisation and growth of the Home Counties region. Recruit train & motivate field sales agents who invariably had twice my experience and age; deliver results effectively and consistently, devise daily sales plans and ensure all targets field based operations were met, maximising the potential of leads generated; monitoring daily sales figures for both field sales and telesales, hiring and (unfortunately) firing of staff and general reporting of the Branch’s activities.
