- Act as advisor for venture capitalists and trade groups on energy issues, future development initiatives and how government interaction will affect those initiatives. Serving on MIT Enterprise Forum’s IGNITE CLEAN ENERGY ’08 organizing committee and New England Clean Energy Council.

• Moved stalled agenda items, worked with major outside constituencies in developing and overseeing execution of the state’s Energy initiatives, Transit Regulations and LNG siting decisions.
• Cut $435M from the budget due to state revenue shortfalls with no key services or initiatives affected.

Managed state offices of Tourism, International Trade, Women and Minority Business, Small Business and Business Development with direct oversight for 55 staff and a budget of approximately $25M.
• Increased jobs pipeline from 1330 in 2003 to approximately 40,000 in 2005, and grew private investment opportunities from approximately $75M to $3.4B during my tenure.
o Spearheaded team that developed and managed the operations of the Business Resource Team (BRT), the state’s one-stop model for selling MA and helping businesses.
- 219 companies expanded or located in the state, including Bristol Myers Squibb’s $1.3B bio-manufacturing plant which will create 650 new jobs
• Represented and directed state representatives’ votes on over 15 boards. Brought all together under the BRT.

• Led successful selection as Accenture preferred alliance choice over 54 other firms, many publicly traded and also those that Accenture had an equity stake in.
