I spent eight weeks with UDHA, a grassroots NGO that focuses on health in some of the most underserved and impoverished communities in the Busoga Region of Uganda, to help establish a youth care center that addresses the health and development of local youth through community outreach programs, recreational activities, sexual and reproductive health education programming, life skills workshops, and an income generating activity that we are currently trying to launch in the U.S.
