| Description: | Fast Evaluation of Coefficients of Multivariate Series
- Implemented linear algorithm to calculate coefficients of bivariate formal series given corresponding linear recurrences. Wrote 700 lines of Maple code, which will be integrated with the Maple Package mgfun. - Various improvements on practical implementation of available algorithms were made which led to reduction in timings to upto 10%. - Provided strong evidence of possibility to reduce the bit-complexity of the best available algorithm. This is under continued investigation. - Submitted a detailed 25 page report regarding the work done at the internship. |
