Pärtel is an experienced entrepreneur and business manager. Pärtel started his career as the logistics and development manager of Quelle (largest distance retailer in Baltics) launching and managing various business initiatives in Baltic countries, Central Europe and in Western Europe. His last project included outsourcing the processes of his department of 60 people to Czech Republic. Pärtel is also one of the authors of Logistics Handbook published by Bonnier group. Pärtel has additionally consulted Itella Corporation’s SmartPOST and sat on the committee of Europe’s largest entrepreneurs’ society - Oxford Entrepreneurs. In different positions he has partnered with large retailers such as NEXT and Shop Direct of UK, OTTO and Quelle from Germany, and Red Cats from France. Since 2009 whilst managing isePankur he has also consulted the largest privately held distance sales company in Nordic and Eastern Europe – Halens AB where he acts in the role of an external business development consultant. At Halens he has been primarily been concerned with integration of former Quelle subsidiaries in Eastern Europe, subsequent restructuring & organisation building, business process reengineering and business & partnership development activities across 14 markets with annual turnover of over 50 million euro. He has 7 years of management experience and holds a BA in International Business Administration from Oxford Brookes University (summa cum laude).
