Born in Puerto Rico in 1985, Orlando Montañez Suárez has shown an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age. He was only 17 years old when he founded his first venture called Digital Media Solutions, a multimedia company dedicated to the filming and editing of video news releases for private companies as well as the creation of video yearbooks for high school classes. On 2006, while obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree on Business Administration in the University of Puerto Rico, he began his second business, Advance Learning Center, a modern student center providing personalized tutoring and other educational services. In 2008, he was elected President of the University Chapter Committee of Puerto Rico’s Chamber of Commerce. Today, he is member of the Board of Directors and President of the Young Entrepreneurs Committee. Orlando is pursuing his Master’s Degree at the Sacred Heart University of Puerto Rico. He is also co-founder of iEntrepreneur Network, an organization dedicated to the fostering of the entrepreneurial mindset among Puerto Rican society by serving as a liaison between the available entrepreneurial resources and the youth.
