| Description: | - Curve Tracer : Purpose of this project was to plot V-I Characteristics of semi-conductor
devices such as Transistor on Cathode Ray Oscilloscope (CRO). It was implemented using 8085 Microprocessor. The design made by us can be used to plot the Characteristics of other devices also such as MOSFET, as the underlying principle remains the same. It was a group project with a team of two under the guidance of our faculty Mr. D.V.Gadre. - Autonomous and Manually Controlled Robots 1) Object Detecting Robot : This was implemented using Infrared Sensors to detect presence of an object. It is a mobile type of a solution as compared to fixed object detectors commercially available. 2) Light Following Robot : This was implemented using basic gates, potentiometer and was a a good example to demonstrate the working of Op-Amp as a comparator. 3) Line Following Robot : Purpose of this project was to follow a line on the ground without any external guidance. The design was completely specific to the competition on line following robot in IIT, Kharagpur. However, later on some more designs were also tested. It was a group participation with a team of three members. 4) Mechanical arm resembling a crane system. 5) Manually controlled four wheel vehicle. |
