Led the operations implementation of a strategic new service offering leveraging the social network share functionality of the $15 Million dollar Nexo acquisition. Developed a Production Acceptance Plan & trained the NOC on supporting the new Share2.0 Site. The initiative helped Shutterfly establish a social networking presence seamlessly built around the existing service of photo sharing and developing products based on digital pictures. Ensured seasonal peak capacity preparedness when over 50% revenue is generated and demonstrated strategic cost savings alternative to the company in augmenting infrastructure expansion by leveraging Amazon’s EC2 utility computing model.
