FULL BIO
I deliver powerful, no-nonsense coaching to leaders, businesses and individuals. I'm on a mission to transform business in Scotland and realise much more of its immense potential. For me, small businesses and start-ups are a very important part of the big picture.
I grew up in Harrogate, Yorkshire, and moved to Edinburgh in 1987 to be a musician. From 1989 to 1999 I ran a recording studio and was a composer/producer of Film and TV music. This gave me a lot of experience running a business in a rarified, competitive market.
After this I read history at Edinburgh University, and graduated in 2003 (2:1). Having benefitted from coaching in many ways I underwent training with the internationally acclaimed Coaches Training Institute in 2004 and have been coaching professionally since then. In 2008 I underwent their Certification Program.
I am also a lazy mountain biker, father, occasional skier, and history geek.

Description:
Astronaut Canteen provided music for Films, TV and various other media. My roles included running the recording studio, marketing, composing, recording and producing music, programming and editing music, using various electronic instruments including samplers and synthesisers, and extensively manipulating sound with cutting-edge computer-based recording systems.
