PUBLICATIONS
| Papers: | 1. Solution of Kinematics and Dynamics Problems of Robotic Manipulators Using Maple Software by Manish Prateek and Anand M. Sharan, NECEC (IEEE), 2000. Url:http://www.ieee.nfld.net/NECEC00/2b.htm
In this work, kinematic and dynamic problems of n link manipulators are solved using Maple Software. The problem has been solved for a rotary or a prismatic joint based on Newton - Euler Algorithm. The results are illustrated with suitable examples. 2. Artificial Neural Networks in Solar Tracking by Anand M. Sharan & Manish Prateek, NECEC (IEEE), 2001. Url: http://www.ieee.nfld.net/NECEC01/abstracts/session2d.htm In the first of the two sets of experiments, the tracking system was run close to the spin rate of the earth and its microprocessor frequency was noted. Next, it was run at a fast speed and the angles of rotation were measured. The machine was modeled using the ANN method corresponding to this faster speed. Using the ratio of these low and high frequencies as a scaling factor, the errors at low speed were obtained. The results show that Artificial Neural Network (ANN) method can accurately model this system. 3. Calculation of Wind Forces On the Bearing in a Solar Tracking System by Prateek, M., Sharan, A.M, IDMME, 2001. Url:http://www.engr.mun.ca/conferences/conappmech/english/tec... (Plz. look on website at June 7, 2001 SESSION I, I2 SATELLITE MECHANICS- Room A1045) In this work wind forces were calculated on the both, upper and lower, bearing of the Tracking System and result obtained showed that system and bearing had no problem under even very high wind forces. 4. Automation Of Minimum Torque Based Tracking Systems: Part II - Accurate Solar Tracking Using Microprocessors by Sharan, A.M., Prateek, M. IDMME, 2001. Url:http://www.engr.mun.ca/conferences/conappmech/english/tec... (Plz. look on website at June 7, 2001 SESSION I, I3 PROBLEMS OF INDUSTRIAL CONCERN II - Room A1046) The circuit designing and automation of the solar tracking system using a microprocessor to increase the accuracy and reliability was discussed in this part of work. The Automation of the Tracking System and result obtained showed that system was tracking the sun accurately whole day along and returned to the home position during nighttime to start tracking again next day. The results obtained practically were compared with the theoretical results and similarities were found which suggested that the designed system is tracking the sun accurately. |
