UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT AT IIT KHARAGPUR IN THE DEPARTMENT OF MECHANICAL ENGINNERING SPECIALISING IN MANUFACTURING SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING. My academic interests include operations research, mechaincs & economics.
I've interned with National Innovation Foundation under the guidance of Prof. Anil Gupta to develop a windmill. The windmill has been designed to cater directly to small scale farms and businesses and costs only Rs. 45,000($900). The windmill is rated at 1 kilowatt.
I am student manager of Entrepreneurship Cell at IIT KGP. I am incharge of providing mentoring to buddying entrepreneurs a my institute.

| Description: | I was developing a windmill that does not cost above 45,000. It is a non aerodynamic drag type windmill that can easily withstand 45km/hr wind speed with a fully functional furling tail mechanism. The blades were made from FRP and no system other then mechanical was to be used to turn the blades in the wind direction and in excessive winds turn them away from the wind. |
