Responsible for improving processes and planning in Machinery Department – a functional division responsible for maintenance and utilization of about 1000 different construction machines worth over $80m • Implemented customized versions of maintenance management frameworks (RCM and TPM models). Average equipment availability rate rose from 75% to 90%, far exceeding Iranian standards • Assisted department director in preparing annual budget and action plans. Represented the department in the Strategic Planning Steering Committee • Led a process re-engineering project across several functional areas to improve operations and resources related to machinery and equipment in Venezuela project, resulting in 5% increase in average machinery uptime • Designed and implemented a Management Information System as a member of Machinery Improvement Committee. This included defining KPIs, designing template spreadsheets, and educating staff. Average time to prepare monthly reports decreased by 50% • Managed ISO 9001 Quality Management System and EFQM Excellence Model in the department. Highest score was achieved for managing physical assets in the Iranian National Productivity and Excellence Award • Performed QMS audits in head office and project sites |
