Description: • Designed and implemented business plan to capture a large area of the water desalination, sewage line cleaning and pumping markets. Within three years ESC captured over 12% of the pumps market, 8% of the water desalination market, and 70% of the sewage cleaning market.
• Hired and trained the management, sales, and office staff, which grew from 8 in 2002 to 106 in 2008
• Researched and managed the process of establishing the corporate office, workshop and manufacturing plant.
• Influenced and coached senior management to adopt a more collaborative team-based decision making management style.
• Headed the research and negotiations which led ESC to securing importing rights and eventually the sole agency in Egypt of over 8 American, European, Chinese, and Japanese manufacturers of submersible pumps, sewer-line cleaning equipment, and water desalination plants.
• Increased capital through an aggressive sales plan and negotiations with credit providers and suppliers from $150,000 in 2002 to $12.6M in 2006.
• Determined the prices of stocks and individual tenders based on competition and market analysis.
• Negotiated major sales tenders with government municipalities from twelve countries, major distributors and contractors, personally securing over $8M in sales.
