Over 10 years experience in the digital media space working with publisher sites providing partnerships to ramp up and grow through acquisitions including at CitySearch, GeoCities, Photobucket and most recently JamBase. I have an in depth understanding of launching API programs and affiliate programs to ensure continued growth of publisher sites. I also have a strong understanding of the social media landscape and media strategy to help small companies navigate their way to growth and profitability.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Employer: JamBase – San Francisco, CA
Position: Director, Business Development
Time period: January 2008 - December 2009
Description: • Lead for JamBase’s business development efforts through a wide variety of areas including concert data syndication, Mobile platforms and the management of the public JamBase API.
• Licensed worldwide partnerships with leading players in the music industry including AOL, Fuzz.com/Blip.fm, imeem, PassAlong, PluggedIn and GraceNote.
• Managed the public API made available to developers by working closely with the company handling its infrastructure, Mashery.
• Managed the Value Added Reseller (VAR) agreement with Billboard, the leading source of the music industry.
• Expanded Branding and Reach through widgets, RSS feeds analysis of sites through Google Analytics and partner attribution.
• Provided Web 2.0 exposure to JamBase by overseeing various events including SFMusicTech and Lunch 2.0.

Description: • Pursued distribution opportunities for Photobucket products and services to increase the rate of user acquisition by 150%.

• Lead manager of the Flock partnership in which Photobucket’s photosharing functionality was integrated into its social media browser.
