FULL BIO

Josh is currently CEO at Guardly. He is a huge supporter of innovation, entrepreneurship and the startup community. Josh is currently helping to organize TEDxToronto 2010 along with a fantastic team, and he is the co-curator at Toronto [StartupDigest]. He has also volunteered with Impact Entrepreneurship Group and mentored Overseas Education Center, a Stanford student team building a not-for-profit educational facility in Cambodia to help local students get top-tier educations abroad (2009).

Josh has also judged several international competitions, most notably, the Social eChallenge Competition at Stanford University (2009, 2010) and the Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC) regional round at MIT (2009). Most recently, he helped judge the 2010 Intel Challenge Europe.

Prior to this, Josh had founded and operated four private companies while completing his high school and undergraduate degrees. One venture, CampusTutors Corporation, was an angel-backed company that provided a web-based, tutor-matching service at three university campuses and grew to over 150 employees and contractors.

He loves wakeboarding and playing squash.
