Sports: Spent three weeks training with a professional soccer team, Coventry City FC, in Coventry, England. Spent four summers (2002-2005) competing in Portugal, England, Germany, Scotland, and Spain with DC United’s youth development squad.
Clubs: • Co-Director of Play4Health - an organization that supports community health events in East Palo Alto. Play4Health, supported by a Youth Venture grant, uses Stanford student athletes to relay positive health messages and provide a link between the East Palo Alto community and Stanford’s abundant resources (2007 - present)
• Member of Stanford Nonprofits, partnering with Avenidas, a nonprofit focusing on Senior Citizens’ needs in the Bay Area (Spring 2008)
• Coordinator of Stanford Men’s Soccer community service – a goalkeeper on the varsity team here at Stanford, I organize and oversee the team’s visits to the Forever Young Zone at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital (2006 - present)
• Summer of 2007 - volunteer work in rural Malawi; patient care and work with mobile HIV-testing and immunization clinics
