I work with early-stage, commercially-focused start-ups to prepare them for funding, sales, and growth.

I am an experienced business advisor who believes in tangible results. I have helped organizations succeed in business-critical change on five continents. Over the past twenty years, I have worked with organizations in health care, management consulting, government, hospitality, non-profit and non-governmental endeavors, and academic institutions. I have taught strategy, information technology management, and project management at American University and Boston University and am the author of the forthcoming book Seven Simple Steps to Finding Your First Job.

Led executive team and line management to support $1.5+ billion outsourced shared services contract in support of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) change agenda.

Led nationwide consulting project to deploy software for workforce optimization. 6-month project currently saving $8 million annually in each of 8 sites with an company-wide savings of $144 million. 8 direct reports.
Introduced collaborative system for process improvement among senior management for a leading national bank. Project generated an additional $10 million in annual revenue.
Delivered Executive-level consulting to four Cabinet-level departments in the US government.
Designed and implemented e-Government strategy and portfolio managemenst. Directed four consultants.
