Description: Co‐founded a content categorisation and search system for classified adverts; Advertag, which is due for closed beta in the beginning of 2008. Researched and organised Advertag’s legal founding and company structure through government, banking, legal and accounting parties. Helped to grow the Advertag team to include one part‐time developer and a set of expert advisors including one natural search & internet marketing expert and one semantic clustering expert who has a Ph.D. in the subject. Wrote and continually updated the company business and marketing plans, defining the project and team requirements.

Description: Senior administrator for the Battlefield 2 Ranked Servers Programme with Electronic Arts. Ran several projects with virtual teams using online collaboration tools. Head of a unique, outsourced beta testing community for EA Games releases. Liaised between EA’s head of Online Operations, DICE developers and the community to develop best practices for product testing, content delivery and future development of Battlefield 2 and future EA/DICE games. Designed a scalable beta testing system and managed the implementation collaboratively with developers based in Britain, Texas, Portugal and Sweden.

Description: Provided launch and operation strategy, design and marketing for technical and IT‐based projects. Clients ranged from Internet start‐ups to a FTSE 100 company. The team behind Fluid Creations is now focusing on Advertag. Managed client relationship with BAE Systems, leading to repeat work of increasing complexity and scope, including high five‐figure sum projects. Worked on supporting the site and back‐end for failed start‐up, .nugthat, where invaluable lessons were learned; our work in demonstrating how emerging technologies and trends relating to their product was pivotal in securing their second round of funding.

Description: Researched new and emerging technologies establishing how they would impact the company in the medium to long term and tasked with influencing corporate strategy accordingly. Researched and authored strategy documents based on client meetings and numerous international conferences. Met with and developed relationships with clients such as Samsung, Lucent and Microsoft to establish the viability of emerging technologies to Telewest. Presented strategic initiatives based on client meetings and research to senior management. Headed the management team in charge of the short to long‐term gaming strategy across technology, marketing and creative departments. Responsible for R&D budget spending for the department. Authored a monthly digest concentrating on the influence of new technologies and business transactions on the company and industry as a whole which was distributed to the top 200 managers and executives in the company.

Description: Recruited into a team of project managers, quickly establishing myself as the liaison between technology, management and operations in a role that rapidly advanced into one of trouble‐shooting and multiple project management in a fast moving, high stress environment. Managed the integration of the IFS Enterprise Resource Planning system into the boo.com back end. Managed several launch‐critical projects and was a key member of the launch team. Managed the creation and execution of the global reporting and error‐checking system for the product procurement process. Conducted research and analysis of all potentially viable strategic partners, including MSN, Yahoo! and Virgin, across Europe and United States. Researched potentially valuable new technologies and established relationships such as outsourced customer services, 3D imaging and colour calibration. Created the financial model for boo.com’s pan‐EU and US online marketing budgets
