Product Engineer (August 2004 – December 2007) • Conducted technical feasibility evaluations and design meetings; performed time and cost estimates for enhancements and guided release timelines; included multiple onsite visits to an international client. • Involved in full life cycle of application development including gathering client requirements, database design, code development, and resolving escalated support issues. • Integral designer and developer of an in-house import utility that allowed application developers to rapidly design, develop, debug, and maintain external system imports. • Responsible for technical and functional training of new hires and short term consultants; coordinated with senior managers to delegate, supervise and review work of those developers. Associate Product Engineer (July 2002 – August 2004) • Developed web-based enterprise Supply Chain Management solutions for industries including retail and grocery, focusing on applications to track and reduce operational expenses. • Served as cross-team support liaison for escalated support issues. Triaged and diagnosed critical and high priority defects for all clients and coordinated resolution and publication of patches. • Took initiative to create application mock-up tool for product managers for use in sales and enhancement documentation. Software now used by most product managers in the back-office suite. |
