Joe. Mahoney is the Founder and Director of the Youth Entrepreneurship Initiative of Bermuda whose mission is to foster the development of an entrepreneurial spirit among the youth of Bermuda. To identify and secure the resources necessary to provide entrepreneurial training, mentoring, technical advice, and other forms of support through the Initiative’s officers, advisors, and other Bermudian business professionals. To herald the accomplishments of Bermuda’s aspiring young entrepreneurs.
The YEI/Bermuda runs summer BizCamps in cooperation with the Department of E-Commerce and has trained Ministry of Education teachers to deliver the NFTE youth entrepreneurship curriculum.

He is also served as director of the Institute for Youth Enterprise, a Boston based resource center where aspiring young urban entrepreneurs attend seminars and participate in multiple “mentoring moments” linking them with Boston’s business community. Qualified participants become “Entrepreneurs-In-Residence” in the IYE business incubation. The IYE fosters youth-managed team business at CBO around Boston.
