Jim was formerly a member of the board of directors of Acta Technology (acquired by Business Objects) and Escalate (acquired by GERS). He has worked closely with a number of NVP portfolio companies including Annuncio (acquired by Peoplesoft), Arbortext (acquired by PTC), and Primus Knowledge Solutions (acquired by Art Technology).

Description: Prior to joining NVP, Jim was Vice President and General Manager of the direct e-commerce solutions division of Beyond.com Corporation, a leading online software and services provider to businesses, government agencies and individuals. Jim's division, which he created, provided outsourced e-business services to a variety of partners including Autodesk, Compaq, Hewlett Packard, Network Associates, Symantec, and 3Com. Earlier Jim served Beyond.com Corporation as vice president of operations, responsible for category management, transaction processing, demand fulfillment, and customer service.
