FULL BIO
I've started 3 Internet companies and 2 others. I work as a founder, business visionary, and in sales, marketing and recruiting. Now I'm the main recruiter, with a little help from my friends.
I'm planning to start sending out monthly email updates, as things progress. So if you like this vision so far, then please send me your email and I'll put you on our list (there will be an easy way to unsubscribe).
How do you like InnaTimes as a name? I'm trying to say "inner" and in the, in dat, and be a bit confusing but still easy to remember. Let me know please.
WORK EXPERIENCE
| Employer: | InnaTimes, an Internet startup |
| Position: | Founder and CEO |
| Time period: | April 2008 - Present |
| Description: | We hope to build the strongest personalization service on the web. Our focus is on making individually gathered news pages for visitors to news websites - based on knowing more about the visitor than any product currently does. Building the software is an only partially met challenge, and we are recruiting energetically.
We build search and discovery tools for news websites (and film, music, TV, radio) or any businesses with consumer oriented websites. Our tools include profiling, personalization, and collaborative filtering software. My first attempt was 1998-2003. And now I've restarted in 2008. The first time, I invested $100,000, and was fulltime for 5 years, part-time for the rest. Built a team. Got top people to put in hundreds of hours, much of it unpaid. Recruited, listened and trusted + tossed my first ideas out (which helped me believe I am modest and open-minded). Learned how to partner with specialists, such as PhDs and MBAs. Met with national trial customers. |
