My passion for food, wine and travel started in '94 while living 4 years in Austria, Slovenia and Italy. I developed a love for the varying cultures and lifestyles and the significance food and wine has in shaping each of them.

FULL BIO
I grew up in Minnesota and graduated from University of MN in 1994 with my degree in Kinesiology/Sociology. Immediately after graduation, I lived and traveled throughout Europe, developing my passions for the lifestyles and cultures. I am particularly moved by the notion that food and wine has the amazing ability to connect people and strengthen communities.
Working in San Francisco for Global Tricana, an importer of fine Italian Wines, I became quickly aquainted with the niche restaurants who share my passion to connect people through great food and great wine. Realizing what I have in common with these amazing restauranteurs and sommeliers, the lightbulb quickly ignited with an idea of how I can help them be a little bit bigger and little bit brighter by taking their niche community online and create stronger and connections with an easy-to-use platform.
