FULL BIO

James Nichols is a senior finance major at the University of Florida. He has diversified experience in the field of finance, most recently as a Financial Management Program Intern with the General Electric Company. With GE he managed projects cash flows of over 80 MM, improved cash flow linearity and margin predictability. In his role as an operations intern for TradePMR in 2008, he worked with over 40 institutional investors to resolve portfolio issues and manage transactions. James also has extensive knowledge of risk management working with the Baldwin Connelly Group as a Private Risk Management Intern and holds a 2-20 general lines agent license. At the University of Florida he served as president of Delta Sigma Pi, a co-ed professional business fraternity. He currently serves as a Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ambassador working to implement a digital campaign to drive awareness of entrepreneurship on campus. James is passionate about giving others the opportunities that he was afforded and thus serves as executive director of Children’s Hope India, an organization working to create a sustainable social business in India. In his free time he enjoys golfing, fishing and reading a good book.
