Worked in conjunction with 3rd party vendors to deliver this high-speed platform, which enables Farmers 15,000 agents to grow their bottom line business and contributes to the corporate goals of growing the agency force.
Innovative approach to engaging Farmers agents – of diverse technical expertise – to actively refresh their websites with minimal technical knowledge and a short time investment (currently in development). This approach will allow the websites to remain “fresh” looking with changing content on a scheduled basis and at the same time likely improving the organic search rankings with Google and Yahoo. Championed potentially industry leading edge concepts of Click to Call/Chat (2006) and Flash video overlay Agent website introductions (2007). Successfully executed project management for a $500k technology migration project (AS400 to PC computers) that increased agent productivity, slightly under budget. Shared responsibility for managing a strategic relationship with Dell Corporation that results in over $4 million annually of hardware and service procurement. Shared responsibility for managing strategic relationships including; Targus, IBM, Versimark, and Sprint. Developed in partnership with Dell PC software images for Farmers agencies nationwide, allowing standardization of base applications and the pre-configuration of Farmers specific applications. Responsible for training computer novice end-users on Farmers Insurance Groups leading edge e-Commerce initiative in support of over 30,000 end users at over 8,000 locations nationwide. Deliver technical support to Farmers Insurance agents on a national scale. Delivered training seminars on strategic e-commerce initiative to Farmers agents and their staff. Traveled across the country to gather and document critical feedback from Farmers agents and office staff regarding the strategic e-Commerce initiative.
