FULL BIO

Jack Eggleston is an environmental entrepreneur and president of Blue Sky Power, a renewable energy company that recently redeveloped a 400 kW hydroelectric power plant in Virginia. He currently focuses on financial analysis and site assessment of renewable generation projects. He previously co-founded two environmental start-up companies: QEC Inc., which developed environmental monitoring technologies: and Earth Experts, which provided environmental hazard reports to residential real estate buyers.

His scientific and academic background is in water resources management. After earning a PhD in environmental engineering at Duke University, he served as a research professor at Duke.
