Description: ¨ In charge of overseeing the combined businesses of Schneider Electric’s Critical Power
and Cooling Services BU (www.apc-mge.com) in the post-merger phase. Responsibilities
included:
¨ Preparing the annual and quarterly budgets with splits for the various countries per
products range and LOB.
¨ Setting up the country organizations; assigning staff to cover all areas of business
development, sales, services and admin/support functions. Ensuring that targets and
goals are well defined for the team. Preparing compensation packages, training programmes, and bonus and incentive schemes to ensure proper motivation and job
satisfaction.
¨ Carrying out partner and channel audits in the various countries to align route-tomarket
strategies with the overall corporate objectives, and ensure sufficient market coverage to deliver the business growth objectives.
¨ Coordinating with corporate legal, HR, and finance officers on various action plans for
the Middle East Zone to ensure the success of a business carve-out exercise.

Description: ¨ Regional Manager in charge of sales and business development activities for the high end UPS product range, Power Quality Solutions and Architectures, and after-sales services at MGE UPS SYSTEMS Regional Office in Jebel Ali (www.mgeups.com) . Achieved an average sales growth rate of 30-34% year-on-year.
¨ General Manager of the UAE based subsidiary office since May 2006. Played a major role
in the contract negotiations for the acquisition of the local partner activity. Managed the
business transfer to the new subsidiary, recruitment of local sales and service staff and
setup of local practices and business tools to ensure revenue generation in line with budget.
¨ Managed the launch programs of new product ranges to meet the company’s commercial
strategy. Organized various related activities (seminars & exhibitions) in large countries to
ensure that products are well received and business plans are met.

Sultanate of Oman.

months of tenure through the implementation of a complete re-organization of the business, and development of major strategic accounts in Oman (PDO, Omantel, Ministry
of Defence).
¨ Secured a number of contracts in the telecom sector with major telecom OEM’s (Ericssson, Motorolla, Siemens) as well as with other local government entities. Managed
projects starting from the product manufacturing stage through to handover at site.
