Dear Backpack Users,

I'm the entrepreneur behind Ivar® Backpacks, a new line of daypacks engineered with an internal shelving design made of soft foam and nylon, and patented. I launched this backpack-making company with the goal to provide backpack users with truly innovative comfort (through our patented shelf design) and organization.

I was a high school student when I came up with the concept. While in college at the University of Denver (encompassing - for me - a double BS in Finance and Marketing, and Division 1 Swimming), I acquired patents on the Ivar shelf design. Following graduation, I decided to forgo a job offer in investment banking to launch Ivar. I knew that all backpacks worked the same way - that they were all essentially open-sacks wherein all your stuff falls to an uncomfortable and disorganizing mess at the bottom. Ivar would be - and has proved to be since its launch - a more intelligent, comfortable, and organizing way to carry your stuff. It is why our slogan is: "The Backpack, Reinvented.™"

Ivar, as a company, has grown into a broad network of designers and business professionals. All of us are passionate about bringing you a more comfortable and organizing backpack, as based on our patented Ivar internal shelving design.
