• December 2005 – December 2008: Operations Manager & IT Systems Manager @ PICTI. • January 2004 – November 2005: IT Systems Manager and BDU Manager @ PICTI (I) Project Management: • Manage high-level special projects on a variety of topics including business process, automation, strategic planning, performance measurement and budgeting; • Oversee and coordinate project schedule, staffing, participation and analysis; • Responsible for meeting project objectives & outcomes, direct and review the program work plan; assign work activities and projects; and monitor workflow. • Resolve workflow problems and conflicts by utilizing and customizing a web enabled DMS system and analyzing impediments and organizing work to maximize use of personnel and material resources. • Project Manager for all PICTI Clients and start-up Companies / incubated projects. Project Manager for many other projects and programs such as: • TeamStart-Palestine Program: an initiative to create high growth businesses in Palestine. Designed by PICTI, Mercy Corps, and the University of Warwick Science Park (UWSP) - UK and is funded by the British Consulate-General in Jerusalem. • Digital Arabic Contest (DAC) Project: Funded by the UN-ESCWA and aimed at spreading awareness about the importance of DAC industry and enriching it in the Arab World due to its contribution in supporting the economic development as an investment opportunity in the ICT sector in the Arab Region. 16 projects were received and the winner was “Arabic OCR System” which is incubated for one year. • UNDP/PAPP - DEEP Project (Al-Rae'd): a US$500,000 project funded by the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) through UNDP to help the Palestinian low income families. During this 15-months project: o I have managed more than 80 employees. o Trainer for more than 100 fresh ICT graduates on Project Management, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, ICT Marketing, Business Plan Building and others. o EGP: Employing and following-up on 60 employees in more than 30 local ICT companies in West Bank & Gaza; o Established six ICT MEs for 21 beneficiaries in six different districts. I was the direct supervisor and Business Advisor. I also provided them with marketing services, business and legal consultancy.... • Technology Business Plan Contest: design, manage, and implement of the 1st ICT Business Plan Contest in Palestine for the year 2007 which was funded by the Infodev – World Bank.
