Overseeing administrative procedures and processes for general preparedness team program activities and served as an administrative liaison with internal and external sources. Developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for ASTHO’s first Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in helping states with their response to the novel H1N1 outbreak and served on the technical assistance team during activation of the EOC. Assembling and analyzing fairly complex information or data and described results in written reports. Preparing PowerPoint presentations, talking points, and researched pertinent issues for senior staff. Serving on ASTHO’s health equity, state health policy, and best practices and innovation workgroups and as the representative for National Consensus Panel on Emergency Preparedness and Cultural Diversity.
