FULL BIO

Passion is defined in the dictionary as “any powerful or compelling emotion or feeling; a strong fondness or desire for anything.” A passionate person is full of vitality and creativity. When we are young, we happily express our creativity, our exuberance, our freedom from the conventional and our ability to live in the moment. As we mature into adults and face new responsibilities, life’s myriad experiences tend to curb our zest for life and all too often we get caught up in the daily grind of survival. It is important to recall the passions that first drove us, and to allow those passions to evolve along with us. Passionate individuals do not allow circumstances to dictate their lives and are often compelled to allow their passions to shape and direct their professional careers. They realize that their passion is a gift, and that it is their destiny to give full expression to that gift. When life is characterized by passion, time becomes timeless.
I realized when I was still relatively young that I had many passions, and also that I would need to work hard in order to keep these passions alive. In order to live fully, to have a meaningful existence, I would need to keep my important passions alive even when life’s vicissitudes start taking their toll. I have always enjoyed solving problems, and as I matured I realized that the common theme among all my passions was my ability to solve complex problems and to serve others in a leadership role. Few things bring me as much satisfaction as knowing that I have helped someone bring joy or happiness in their lives, or solve a problem for which no solution appeared to be available.
