Gene is a software developer specializing in building applications on iphone, ajax, flash, with super agile software development techniques, resulting in cool stuff that millions of people use!

Gene was American born and raised in Taiwan as a bilingual student. After receiving a B.S in Physics from Purdue University in 2006, he moved to the bay area to pursue a career in software, and has been loving every minute of it!

Most recently, Gene worked on a 3-person team developing an iPhone app at Aardvark, which reached the Top 25 social networking apps in the App store within 3 days of release. #1 Featured app within a week.

Gene has been moonlighting for two years at YourVersion.com. Their product won the People’s Choice award at TechCrunch50 ‘09.

He is also CEO and founder of Sircambridgeworks.com, specializing in iPhone apps, resulting in over 120k downloads at 750k impressions per month, with 4 apps reaching the Top 25 media apps in the asian app store.

Working at Mochila.com for two years, Gene developed an extensive widget customization and delivery platform, distributing over 11M UMV of ad-supported video players, slideshows and text.

During a brief period at Blinkx, he worked on a user-centric video application for Apple’s mobile platform.
