FULL BIO

Since June, 1999, I have served as the Managing Partner of The Growth Group, an Internet Consultancy, which provides funding assistance, marketing, business development and corporate strategy direction for Growth companies.

I served as Vice President of Business Development for Online Anywhere, a
wireless internet company funded by Motorola and sold to Yahoo in June, 1999. Online Anywhere was kept intact as the Yahoo Everywhere Mobile division.

Previous to Online Anywhere, I served as Microsoft’s Director of Development/Silicon Valley, responsible for Microsoft's relationships with the venture capital and startup communities in Silicon Valley. (Investments included ShareWave, acquired by Cirrus Logic in October, 2001 and Elemental Software, acquired by Macromedia in October, 1999).

Prior to Microsoft, I held a similar position as Vice President of Strategic Alliances for Tribune Company, recommending investment in companies such as Mosaic and eShop. I have held executive level business development and marketing positions with Atari Corp., Creative Software and various startups.

Companies with which I have been involved have generated over $350 million in funding and/or liquidity.

I have served on the Board of the San Jose Software Cluster (incubator) since its inception in 1995. The SBC is a non-profit joint venture between the City of San Jose and San Jose State University. SBC graduate companies have generated over $6 billion in equity/liquidity and in 2000 the SBC was named National Incubator of the Year by the National Business Incubation Association.

I began his career in marketing and merchandise management with Pacific Stereo, a 100+ store consumer electronics chain and a division of CBS Retail Stores.

I hold an MBA in Marketing from New York University and a BA in psychology from the University of North Carolina.
