Within my position at the deVere Group office in Brussels, I will be liaising closely with my appointed Financial Planning consultant from whom I shall learn a great deal about my role and the ambitious organization itself. I will also be interacting with an array of financial institutions from across Europe, allowing me to gain valuable experience whilst furthering my knowledge of the market sector as a whole.

I will be given comprehensive training within the role and supported to complete my CII Financial qualifications in London, which will allow me the opportunity to develop as an International Financial Planning Consultant. I am an extremely motivated individual who has high aspirations, and I am looking to take full advantage of the excellent career progression which exists within the deVere Group and its rapidly expanding operations.

Description: This post involves continuous collaboration within an innovative team to target, develop and execute numerous student and non-student nightlife events within Birmingham. Brand awareness, promotional work, cyclical chain feedback and e-commerce are all crucial aspects for our mission of building a strong consumer base. The role inherently requires high quality communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effortlessly within teams and to be concise when making and delivering decisions as an individual. The position has allowed me to develop upon a vast range of business skills, with particular emphasis on building quality relationships and networks within the appropriate fields.

Description: Clays Ltd is the UK’s leading printer of monochrome books and I have been employed within their web room over the past two years working across the 24 hour morning, afternoon and most usually night shifts. The position is not only labour intensive but also mentally challenging, continuously striving for daily production targets whilst adhering to strict safety and production protocols. I learnt a great deal whilst liaising with both senior and junior management within this environment and drew upon much of this experience to attain a first in my motivational essay for my Organisational Behaviour module.

Employer: St. Peters Hall Restaurant
Position: Front of House/ Relief Manager
Time period: October 2005 - February 2008
Description: By the end of my employment within the restaurant I was responsible for the weekly timetabling, co-ordination and effective training and induction of new employees, and the synchronization of weddings, festivals and large scale events entailing pre-event conferencing with clientele. Once eligible I was used for relief management in which I had to exercise diligence in the closing and alarming the site as well as when cashing up the tills. High customer service skills were essential in such a face to face role and I gained the ability to communicate effectively and to remain patient when resolving customer disputes.

Position: Arcade Staff
Time period: March 2003 - October 2007
Description: I worked across nearly all departments within the theme park at some point but was most suited in the Arcade team where my ability to distinguish strong trends and correlations between machine takings and varying daily environmental factors allowed me to propose alterations to maximize their performance across the park. Being on radio call for re-uniting lost children also trained me in using my full range of communication skills to effectively calm and comfort distraught parents or children.
