Diego Soro has a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona. His study has been focused on telecommunications regulation. He is currently pursuing a PhD at the Economics Faculty of UNED University on the R&D sector from an economic point of view and he is Executive MBA by the IE Business School. He has been working as a technological consultant in different companies, from small companies to big ones, like Accenture. He also has experience in standardization activities, AENOR as well as promotion of multimedia solutions for Spanish industries, representing the DVB in Latin America. He has experience in coordination and participation in several European projects, like Avista, BROADWAN, Mossa, European IST, NEMi, etc., and more than forty national R&D projects. He has presented several papers related to the ITC sector and he is currently working as a strategic consultant in different companies, working for very important companies like Rtve, Telefónica, Indra, Endesa etc. As well he is professor in the EOI Business School.
