David is currently a full time Clinical Instructor at The University of Alabama in the Management and Marketing Department. He is the Director of AlabamaREAL and, The Sam Walton Fellow and SIFE [Students In Free Enterprise], sponsor. David was an Adjunct Professor at U of A from 1997-2002. He has taught upper division classes in Leadership, Business Ethics, Entrepreneurship and International Business Administration, along with Introduction to Marketing. In 2001 he was recognized with the Outstanding Adjunct Faculty Member Award. David retired in 2002, after 21 years, from Cintas Corp. a NASDAQ traded company. He has worked with community organizations as a leadership trainer and volunteer. He has, or is, currently serving on the boards of Theatre Tuscaloosa, Alabama Public Radio, The Chamber of Commerce, Forerunners, Leadership Tuscaloosa and Tuscaloosa’s Sister City Commission. David is working to help develop an Entrepreneurship Center of Excellence in Alabama. [UA was recently named one of the top 20 Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Universities by The Princeton Review and Entrepreneurship Magazine] His current interests revolve around obtaining stakeholder support through systems of organizational justice and trust based on a foundation of ethical behavior of the organization.
