Description:
Working for an Oil and Gas Recruitment Company in their Drilling and Well Services department involved in the recruitment of senior supervisory positions worldwide. Started in this position as a Recruitment Administrator and after one month was taken on as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant. Duties involved researching and headhunting candidates using online databases such as Oil Careers, liaising with candidates and clients, organising interviews, preparing client proposals, preparing our weekly sales reports, organising candidate and client mail shots, negotiating salaries and day rates and maintaining rapport with candidates and clients.
Was involved in placing candidates in the UK as well as locations such as India, Kyrgyzstan, Egypt, Norway, Denmark and Libya. Also had to adapt to different tax regimes, visa regulations and recruitment policies throughout the world. Dealt with blue chip companies within the industry i.e. Shell, BP etc
