Time period: January 2007 - June 2008
Description: Innovation Dynamics is one of Australia’s largest independent life science consulting organizations.
As the Queensland state representative of the company I was the primary point of contact for local life science companies, industry organizations, research institutions, financial institutions and government. Networking has always been an important part of my working career therefore I consistently attend industry events - building connections with professional financial, legal, technical service providers and the executives of life science companies. On a day to day basis I was involved in the management and preparation of proposals and reports for clients that range from whole of industry economic analyses and government policy recommendations through to strategic partnering advice and detailed market research.
Due to a background in information technology I was also responsible for managing the company’s agency agreements with the developers of intellectual property management, corporate governance compliance and enterprise resource planning software products.

Employer: Sundata Pty Ltd
Position: Account Manager / Internetwork Specialist
Time period: January 1999 - November 2002
Description: Sundata is a Brisbane based Information Technology solution provider whose primary clients are in the areas of professional services, manufacturing and distribution.
In the role of account manager I worked closely with the sales and engineering teams to provide cutting edge solutions to clients, solving business problems and improving processes. This required the evaluation, maintenance and development of relationships with clients, suppliers, vendors and other shareholders. I was responsible for development of the communications and networking business. Reporting to the sales director, I assisted with the development of business strategies, market analysis, and evaluation of new technologies plus the management of key industry partnerships. New business was generated from within existing clients, through word of mouth and marketing programs that I managed in conjunction with vendors such as IBM, Cisco Systems and major telecommunication carriers.
As the specialist for communications and networking I was involved with, and led dynamic project teams in order to design and execute solutions for a broad range of small, medium, and enterprise and government clients. I developed solutions by analyzing client requirements, identification and allocation of necessary resources and the development of proposals followed by presentation to the key stakeholders. Being a technical resource I was also involved in consulting, pre and post sales and the implementation of solutions.
