Craig has been instrumental in refocusing his current company, TransCard, and developing the organization into one of the few privately held prepaid processors in the world. TransCard is a top ten, stored-value processor and a global provider of transaction-based processing services. TransCard has provided stored-value processing services since 1993 and paycard products beginning in 1996. TransCard differentiates itself in the prepaid card industry by offering compliant solutions, real value, proprietary technology, mobile card management and stability. Its products include paycards, financial institution stored-value processing, gift reward cards, fleet services and retail program management. TransCard handles nearly $2 billion in electronic transactions annually and was featured as a “10 to Watch” by Intele-Card News. The company was recently named as a 2009 Paybefore Awards Best-in-Category Winner for the Best Corporate-Funded Prepaid Card and Craig was recognized as one of the top five Rising Stars of Prepaid by Paybefore magazine—a respected prepaid industry publication.

Under his leadership, the company has established a processing platform that includes MasterCard-, Discover- and Visa- (coming 2010) branded card products. His vision of combining cutting-edge mobile applications with prepaid cards has been instrumental in the company’s success in landing major deals with organizations such as Kellogg’s, Sunkist, Exide Technologies, Tupperware, TurboTax, Gumout, LG Electronics and Neiman Marcus.

Prior to joining TransCard, Craig served as President of Xpress Global Systems (XGS)—a wholly owned subsidiary of U.S. Xpress Enterprises. At XGS, Craig helped to orchestrate the sell of the company’s airport-to-airport subsidiary to Forward Air Corporation. He oversaw the operations of the organization that included 90 locations around the United States and employed more than 1,400 individuals.

Prior to being named President of XGS, Craig served as the Vice President/General Manager of the Xpress Direct division of U.S. Xpress Enterprises, the division he established. Under his leadership, Xpress Direct became one of the largest and fastest growing divisions of U.S. Xpress Enterprises. The division offers on-demand expedited truckload services to customers requiring just-in-time transportation and surge-capacity needs. In less than three years since inception, Xpress Direct has become one of the largest providers of ground expedite services in North America. Xpress Direct was recognized with the Quest for Quality Award as best in class—the highest honor in the logistics sector.

Craig has a BBA from Baylor University in International Business and Entrepreneurship and is currently enrolled in the Entrepreneurial Masters Program at MIT.
