INFORMATION

Sports: General athletics
Hobbies: I have always been technical minded person. Starting at school and further in university I have found attraction in real life projects and programming. That’s probably something I miss in my mostly theoretical postgraduate research.
As a part of my hobby I’ve built CNC controlled router, and learned CAD CAM systems to operate it. I also work closely with my colleagues from St. Petersburg, working on image recognition unit for the project of pick and Place machine and so on.
I am also very interested in the efficient computational techniques because of fast software is a good software. I can see the future in the Open source, where lot’s of people combine they efforts, producing such a brilliant products as Linux, Unix, graphical interface GNU Plot which I used to employ in my work.
