Clients included Health Maintenance Organizations and Fortune 500 corporations. 17 years later products remain leaders in the analysis of health care treatment quality (Peer-A-MedTM) and medical claims fraud prevention (Auto-AuditTM).
This included responsibility for recruiting and mentoring an elite team of software engineers, for designing and developing two flagship software systems from scratch under challenging deadlines (three months until Peer-A-MedTM was generating revenue, six months from start to finish for Auto-AuditTM to begin generating revenue), for determining appropriate platforms for use in-house and for clients, and for developing innovative PC-grid alternatives (in 1990!) to mainframe processing of gigabyte databases.

Employer: HealthChex, Inc.
Position: Senior Software Engineer
Time period: January 1990 - June 1990
Description: Designed and developed the Peer-A-MedTM expert system in three months of 140 hour weeks from scratch to final data-analysis reports for our first client (General Electric).
